Paint Feeding Units

Systems for Paint Feeding Units

Crescocito offers a wide range of standard and customized paint feeding units. The most common sizes are 20, 200 and IBC container solutions.

A paint feeding unit normally consist of;

  • Paint pump (piston / diaphragm) with correct sizing and material choice for the intended installation.
  • An efficient stirrer with electrical or pneumatic drive
  • Paint filter as single or double unit
  • Paint pressure regulator
  • Collection tray for secure handling of paint spill
  • Pressure gauges

Optional equipment / function;

  • Level sensor for monitoring material level in paint container
  • Pressure sensor for monitoring actual feeding pressure
  • Temperature sensor for monitoring actual paint temperature
  • Rupture valve for protecting pump
  • Pneumatic lift to minimize operator lifting
Pipes for systems

Pipe Works

Distribution of the media in use, normally paint, but also solvent, catalyst, and waste material is vital for the total function and final painting quality. Crescocito has the experience in building the correct type and sizing of the pipe works. We have experienced crew to make well working installations even in old buildings that can be very challenging.

Material choice and way of installation is selected depending to the requirement in each project. It can be done as a low pressure system with Teflon based hoses, or high pressure installation with steel braided hoses or welded steel piping. Steel piping can also be x-rayed for high end verification of welding seams. Crescocito produces also material tanks for the pipe works. It can be paint distribution tanks for paint, catalyst or waste tanks.

Paint Distribution

Crescocito designs and build complete paint distribution systems. It can be based on
standard solutions in combination with customized details. The system will be adapted to
actual delivery container sizing, daily handling routine and other basic but important facts.
Initially an PID proposal is presented with all functional components in the complete system.
3D design is used to plan and simulate final design with realistic work conditions.
Pressure drops, circulation velocity, sedimentation, shear forces, temperature influence and
other facts are considered before the installation can be made. Functional components are
selected carefully to have the best operational performance and running cost.
The 3D layouts make it also possible to prepare mechanical installations simultaneously on
site to reduce total installation time. Pressure testing according to PED are done, the
complete system is cleaned according to agreed instructions. Electrical sensors and switches
are connected and tested against controllers to validate process parameters.
