When using low viscous paints and limited distances, the normal choice is a 1:1 diaphragm pump designed for the purpose. The pumps are available in a large scale of sizes, 1/4" - 3". The material choice for the housing, diaphragms, seats and balls is very wide to suit all possible installations and materials to handle. Diaphragm pumps are also available with 3:1 pressure ratios to handle larger distances or pressures up to 21 bar. When using higher viscocities and higher working pressures are required, piston pumps will offer this. The pump can be with pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical motor. The lower end works with 2 or 4 ball technology depending on type of pump. Pumps are availble for all type of liquid transfer, regardless viscosity or working pressure.
